These are both excellent articles. The first one is dealing with hard questions in the gospel. He makes mention of what he learned from Helen Mar Kimball's faith and defense of polygamy, that it is "a subject that can bear investigation." I love how he mentions that apologizing for her would be "a shabby monument to her faith."
